McCune Park, in nearby Canfield, Ohio, has been the home of Youngstown State softball since the 2003 season. The Park features bleachers, dugouts, restrooms, permanent lighting, a concession stand and press box. The complex consists of nine fields, two of which have lights. It also features a double lane batting barn with electric pitching machines. The complex provides for all of the club’s in-house home games and hosts softball and baseball tournaments. YSU's Stambaugh Stadium and Dwight "Dike" Beede Field are home to Penguin football and Lady Pens soccer. The tallest building in the city, only four times in 28 seasons has the Penguin football team failed to finish above .500. This is why Arnold D.
