Mill Creek Park and Golf Courses

The Youngstown State Golf and Cross-Country teams utilize the beautiful Mill Creek Park. Located in Youngstown, the park is the nation's second-largest and encompasses approximately 2,600 acres, 20 miles of drives, and 15 miles of foot trails, and a rare collection of gardens, streams, lakes, woodlands, meadows and wildlife for all to enjoy. Visitors will find a wide range of recreational opportunities such as hiking, biking, picnicking, boating, Volleyball, Par-3, and championship golf.

Within Mill Creek are two 18-hole courses designed by Donald Ross that offer a diversity of playing experiences. Fairways are framed by trees, numerous bunkers and meandering streams that test one's golfing skills, all amidst the beauty and splendor of a Park setting.

The gently rolling terrain of the North Course is 6,173 yards in length. The South Course is designed on level land with narrow tree-lined fairways and plays to 6,302. Both courses are also open for public play, April to December.
