Shutt, Dixon Tie For Medalist Honors; Penguins Best Niagara
Erie, Pa. - Youngstown State women's golfers Courtney Shutt and Emily Dixon tied for medalist honors as the Penguins defeated Niagara in a dual match at the Lake Shore Country Club on Saturday.

YSU carded a 312 for the day while the Purple Eagles shot a 341.

Dixon and Shutt were first with 71's while Gabby Minor finished third with a 78. Two shot back of Minor in a three-way tie for fourth was Emily Rohanna who had an 80.

Haleigh Guerrero was sixth with an 83 along with freshman Megan Creager. One stroke behind was Christina Cooper. Mia Barchetti carded an 88 for the Penguins.

YSU returns to action on Monday and Tuesday when it competes at the Oakland Golden Grizzly Invitational.
