Klim and Burns Post Top-10 Finishes at Tommy Evans Invitational
Akron - Alan Burns placed fifth while Michelle Klim was eighth to lead the YSU men's and women's cross country teams in action on Friday evening at the Tommy Evans Invitational held at Silver Creek Metro Park.

The men had only six participants in the meet with Burns leading the way running a time of 20:24.91. Other finishers for the Penguins included James Nedrich who was 13th with a time of 20:47.41, Michael Dahmen finished 28th at 21:32.94, Derek Morrison placed 42nd clocking a 22:36.59, Aaron Benka was one place behind with a time of 22:37.37 and Justin Reynolds was 47th with a 23:20.87.

For the women, Klim had a top performance of 18:46.70 to finish in eighth place in the 5K race. Other finishers for the Penguins were Libby Rogenski who was 45th with a time of 20:07.50, Suzanne Koziol was 49th posting a time of 20:14.00, Jennifer Muhlenkamp placed 56th with a time of 20:51.30, Erin Pavick was 64th with a 21:22.30 and Melissa Klim placed 68th at 22:21.90.

The Penguins return to action on Friday, Sept. 16 at the UB Stampeded in Buffalo, N.Y.
